Summer is here! What that means for me is that the local farmer's markets are up and running. These are the places where I find the best produce (yellow corn, strawberries, and asparagus are my personal favorites). This post is my plea to you to find, support, and patronize your local farmer's markets. You won't find any better products, and these purveyors of local goods need our help to survive in this economy. You'll often find that the prices at the farmer's markets are better than those at the super market for equivalent products. So head out and show your support to the local farmers, artists, and craftspeople in your area.
